The Opencard Development project aims to build on the original Opencard Framework by using the Sourceforge repository to alow easier access to the Opencard source by a wider number of devlopers, along with some of the other enhanced development faclities available on SourceForge.
The original Opencard project was started some time ago and has made good progress but was stagnating. In early 2003 a group of Opencard users on the original Opencard mailing list decided to move the existing Opencard codebase to an open source repository to reinvigorate the devlopment. Here is the result.
